Mapple is live — a daily geography puzzle
Mapple is out. There's one country hidden each day, the same one for everyone on the planet, and you type guesses to find it. Each guess lights up on the map and tells you how close you are — warmer or colder — until you land it.
It's the Wordle shape applied to geography: low stakes, one round a day, done in a couple of minutes. When you get it, you get an emoji grid to share without spoiling the answer.
Why type-only
Early on you could tap the map to guess. It turned out you could brute-force the answer by clicking around, so I pulled it — now the search field commits the guess. You actually have to know (or reason out) where a country is. That one constraint is what makes it a puzzle instead of a clicking game.
Built solo. If you like a small daily ritual, this one's for you.
