ScamScout is in beta — paste anything sketchy, get a verdict
ScamScout is open in beta. The idea is simple: when something feels off — a "your package is held" text, a too-good crypto DM, a login link you're not sure about — you paste it in and get a straight answer on whether it's a scam, with the reasoning behind it.
It takes text, screenshots, or links, so you don't have to retype anything. The verdict comes back with the specific tells it spotted, because "this is a scam" is a lot more useful when you can see why.
Why "and why" matters
Anyone can flash a red light. The part that actually protects people is the explanation — the phrasing, the mismatched URL, the urgency tactic — because that's what lets you recognize the next one yourself. ScamScout is trying to teach the pattern, not just gate it.
This is the first surface of a bigger plan (SMS, calls, a browser extension). Live in beta at scamscout.ai — come kick the tires.
