Welcome to Pawdigree. By using the app, you agree to these terms. They're short and plain on purpose.

What Pawdigree does

Pawdigree uses AI to identify the likely breed mix of your dog or cat from a photo, plus generated guidance on personality, health watch-outs, and care. It is for fun and information only. It is not veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical questions about your pet.

In-app purchases

• Pawdigree offers one-time purchases: $9.99 to unlock one pet's full profile, $19.99 for three, $29.99 for unlimited.
• No subscriptions. Ever. Pay once, keep forever on that Apple ID.
• Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit, billed to your Apple ID, and verified by RevenueCat.
• To restore prior purchases on a new device, tap Restore on the launch screen footer or paywall.

Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund through your Apple ID purchase history or at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you have a specific issue we can help with, email brooke@brooke-builds-stuff.com and we'll try.

AI accuracy disclaimer

Breed identification is generated by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). It's usually accurate for purebreds and reasonable mixes, but it can be wrong, especially for unusual mixes, low-light photos, or breeds the model has seen less of. Don't make medical, behavioral, or breed-registration decisions based solely on Pawdigree's output. A DNA test from a veterinary lab is the right call when accuracy matters.

Acceptable use

• Use Pawdigree for your own pets or pets you have permission to photograph.
• Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
• Don't use Pawdigree to identify breeds for the purpose of breed-specific discrimination.

Termination

You can stop using Pawdigree at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you abuse the service (excessive automated requests, harm to other users, etc.). Paid unlocks remain redeemable via Apple Restore on a new install.

Liability

The app is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of Pawdigree, including any decisions made based on the AI's breed predictions or care suggestions.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and surface a notice in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
